Portugal Open Championship 2009 Faro
John Tushingham GBR51, took the winning honours at the the Portuguese CAMPEONATO NACIONAL MICRO MAGIC 2009.
The winner and new National Champion of Portugal is Jose Pinheiro. POR851
3rd place went to Gines Romero ESP74.

Queensland MM Championship
The inaugral Qld MM Championship was successfully hosted by the Brisbane Radio Yacht ClubTen competitors made the trip on the 29th May including John Flahive from Western Australia. The numbers were down on the initial nominations of 16 due to the effects of recent floods and flu (hopefully not the curley tail variety)
The winner was Malcolm Kampe (38 points) from Rod Molkentin (45 pts) and Jon Wilson (46 pts)

2009 French National & Internationale Championship - Cergy
 Guy Soutenain (FRA1161) won this years championship.2nd, Dutchman. Arjan Van der Cingel (NED1467) 3rd, Gilbert Desclaux (FRA111). 4th, Jean-Luc Germain (FRA23) 5th, Guillaume Noublanche (FRA72) A great fleet of 37 boats competed in 8 rounds. Euro-Cup 2009 Faro, Portugal
The coming Europeans will be held from Friday 25 till Sunday 27 September in Faro, Portugal; a 3 day event in the sunny Algarve!The venue will be Faro, close the the airport on a nice open spot near the sea.
All current European MMI sailors are invited, but overseas or other interested MM sailors can adress to info@micromagic.nl to apply for a wildcard.
